Appliances

Appliances account for 20% of the average home’s electric bill, so efficiency is important. Boost it by financing upgrades through GoGreen Home. Note: Financing for convection electric ovens only available for customers who receive electricity from PG&E, SCE, or SDG&E.
Customers who receive electricity from PG&E, SCE and SDG&E and customers of SoCalGas can shop online and finance Energy Star appliances from $200 through Eco Financing. Look for the logo to save.

Eligible improvements: Bundled solar + battery storage, battery storage for preexisting solar, and solar hot water heating

Cool Roofs

Upgrade to a cool roof that reflects sunlight and disperses heat, making your home more comfortable and energy-efficient. Note: Financing available only for customers who receive electricity from PG&E, SCE or SDG&E.

Eligible improvements: Cool roof (Cool Roof Rating Council certified)

EV Charging

Install an EV charger at home to power your vehicle at your convenience. EV charging stations not only save you from having to search for public charging stations, they can also charge your EV overnight when energy tends to be cheaper.

Heating & Cooling

Want to save on energy bills? Old heating and cooling systems are energy bandits, costing almost half a home’s total usage. Trade in your outdated HVAC for an energy-saving alternative. Note: Financing for central air conditioning units, ECM furnace fans, evaporative cooling, fan or motor controls, and mini split ductless air conditioning units only available for customers who receive electricity from PG&E, SCE, or SDG&E. 
Eligible equipment: Central heating and air conditioning systems, heat pumps (including any necessary electrical panel upgrades), mini splits, duct insulation & sealing, evaporative cooling, gas furnaces, smart thermostats, whole house fans, HVAC tune-up and optimization, MERV 13 air filter upgrades, hydronic radiant heating, diagnostic or fault detection alert systems, air filter alarms and sensors, duct sizing or optimization, ventilation fans, EMC furnace fan or motor controls

By improving air sealing and insulation, you can say goodbye to pesky drafts in your home.
Eligible projects: Attic insulation, wall insulation, duct insulation, floor insulation, water heater tank insulation, water pipe insulation, insulated siding, air sealing, radiant barrier, heat reflective coating

Water Heating

Replace your old water heater with a new, high-efficiency Energy Star® certified model. Note: Financing for electric tankless hot water heaters only available for customers who receive electricity from PG&E, SCE, or SDG&E.

Eligible equipment: Heat pump water heaters, gas tank storage water heaters, tankless on-demand water heaters, tank & pipe insulation, shower thermostatic valves, faucet aerators, shower head – low flow

Windows

Upgrade your windows to keep your home comfortable year-round. Stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Eligible projects: Windows and glass doors, interior and exterior window coverings, awnings, window film

Other Projects

Use at least 70% of your loan for eligible projects and related costs, and the rest can be used for other home improvements.
Eligible improvements: The choice is yours! Drought-tolerant landscaping, water-saving measures, home painting, flooring, and even new cabinetry can qualify for up to 30% of your loan.
