GoGreen Home Energy Financing has solutions for your energy efficiency financing needs. Simply follow these steps or, if you're a do-it-yourselfer, click here to learn about self-install projects that can be financed.
1. Get a project estimate from a contractor participating in GoGreen Home
If you don’t know the upgrade needs for your home, the scope and cost of your project or how much you’d like to finance, you may want to speak with a licensed contractor. A contractor can help you decide on project goals and costs. Use our find a contractor page to locate licensed contractors participating in GoGreen Home in your area. If you don't see your preferred contractor listed, they can easily sign up for GoGreen Home by visiting GoGreenFinancing.com/residentialcontractors.
2. Choose an approved lender and apply for financing
If you know the amount you’d like to finance, you’re ready to apply for GoGreen Home. Visit our find financing page to compare products and apply online or speak with a lender representative.
3. Receive lender confirmation to start your project
After the lender approves you for financing, your contractor will share your project scope with the lender. Once your lender approves the project, work can begin.
4. Sign loan closing documents and enjoy your comfortable, efficient home
Upon completion, your contractor will provide you with a final itemized invoice and a certificate of completion. The lender will ask you to sign a GoGreen Home Borrower Form+ containing project certifications and privacy rights disclosures.
